GP2xL USB Accelerometer / Tilt Meter
The GP2xL is a powerful 3-axis tilt meter that utilizes a standard USB connection to stream data directly to a PC for quick and easy data collection. Simply secure the instrument to the structure that you want to measure, connect the USB cable to a computer and begin monitoring. Up to 4 GP2xL's can be connected to a computer simultaneously. The instrument faithfully records the structure's motions, shock, impact, inclination and vibration responses. Capturing the real world dynamic responses of a structure is an important aspect for determining and maintaining the safety and viability of that structure. Once responses are captured the GP2xL has a suite of analysis tools that let you review the data in different ways. Tools such as: down- sampling, Fast Fourier Transforms, Power Spectral Density, high, low and band-pass filtering help you visualize and understand complex responses. The GP2xL gives engineers and asset owners objective data that provides additional insight into how their structures are performing.
